How much should a person expect to spend on a basic laptop/notebook?
If I wanted to purchase a laptop/notebook computer, with simple word processing, and including a "floppy" drive, and a C.D. drive, for saving files, but with NO extra features, how much money should I expect to spend on a new unit versus how much I should expect to spend for a used unit? What is the lower end price, for a laptop/notebook computer? Where is the best place to find a new (or Used) unit?
You're going to pay a little bit extra if you want a floppy drive because that will require quite an old computer. If you want a relatively nice computer with a good size hard-drive you're probably going to pay anywhere from $200-$600. If you want a netbook (those little computers) you can pay anywhere from $150-$450'ish. Hope that helps!
